Carel completed the qualification as Architect; B.Arch and practiced as architect. Numerous projects for private clients, Government, Local Authorities and Institutions were completed. This included a diverse scope of developments such as residential, commercial, office, motor related, industrial warehousing, community civic centres and theatre buildings.

The instinctive passion and interest to pursue development opportunities, unlocking the development potential of land, and bringing the development to fruition, formed the foundation and to establish a property development and real estate company which could facilitate and express the development goals and vision for property development.
